I NEED HELP! Does anyone actually monitor this site?

I have two macs, both are partitioned for business / personal use, I also have a (LOL) 4G and a 5G that I might consider including. What plan do I need to buy. Does anyone know a telephone number so I can ask a real person a question?

This is the ideal place to post a question like your. You'll get your answer soon, I'm sure. AgileBits staff monitor the forum seven days a week in my experience.

As to your Mac, the license is sold on a per user, per platform basis, so all the Mac you use yourself, whether personal or business, are cover on your Mac license.

I'd try to answer about (LOL) 4G and 5 G, but I don't know what those are.

    Hi @ms4fire,

You'll just need a single license for your two Macs. You can purchase 1Password on our website or the Mac App Store.

Like hawkmoth, I'm not quite sure what you mean by 4G and 5G. If you're referring to mobile devices, you can get 1Password for iOS on the App Store or 1Password for Android on Google Play. The mobile apps are free, with an option in-app purchase for the Pro features.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. We're always happy to help!

The advantage of buying from the Mac App Store is that it includes iCloud sync, which is not available in the version bought from AgileBits. Of course, iCloud sync only works between Apple devices. Dropbox sync is available in both versions, and many people think it as good or better than iCloud sync

@danco: That's a good summary. Dropbox is cross-platform, so I appreciate its flexibility; whereas iCloud is dead simple, and keeps getting better.

In regard to 1Password from the AgileBits website versus 1Password from the Mac App Store, Apple allows only MAS apps to take advantage of CloudKit for sync'ing via iCloud; and CloudKit itself is limited to iOS 8 and Yosemite (and therefore 1Password 5 for Mac and iOS). 1Password supports Dropbox Sync across all platforms.
