@simonlinj: Thank you for sharing that! Are you by any chance using accessibility features such as Zoom or Larger Text? We've seen some issues with that specifically. In my own experiences with the 6 Plus I have found that -- not surprisingly -- it can stutter sometimes as well since it is pushing many more pixels than the 6, and then downscaling for the display.

How did you record that, by the way? It struck me as odd that the aspect ratio was a bit narrow and the carrier name was missing in the top left.

Since you're seeing crashes, are there other issues as well? There are some known issues related to iOS 8 on the iPhone 6 Plus (which we have reported to Apple). Please let me know. :)

  • Hi @simonlinj,

Thanks for the information. The device is not jailbroken, correct? I unfortunately don't have an iPhone 6+ to test with (I have a 6), but hopefully we can find a way to reproduce this.

    Thanks.

    Ben

  • Hi @simonlinj ,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I am happy to say that we were able to reproduce this animation glitch, although not the crash itself. It was a pretty ugly animation indeed. Happily we have a fix for this and it will be available in our next 1Password for iOS update.

@simonlinj: The data may very well prove useful, since in your case it was also crashing. Being able to reproduce the glitch means we are that much closer to finding the cause and getting this fixed for you and anyone else who might be experiencing a related problem. Thanks so much for your patience and feedback! :)
