LOCKED OUT OF 1PASSWORD

I enter my password, the app shuts down and allows me to enter a problem report. On my iPhone, I enter my password and the app immediately crashes. Storing my passwords inside an app I can't access is, you know, infuriating!

    It would be helpful if you let us have some more information. Please tell us:

    1. what version of 1P you have been using on your Mac;
    2. what version of 1P for iOS you have been using;
    3. your OS X and iOS version numbers;
    4. how you sync your 1P data between your Mac and your iOS device(s) (Dropbox, iCloud or local wifi sync).

    I appreciate it may be a little difficult to confirm 1P version numbers if you can't access the app but please tell us to the best of your recollection. Please also let us know whether the crashes have just started on your iOS device (i.e., have you previously managed to use 1P on it successfully?). Are you using an iPhone 6+ by any chance?

    You could try this on your Mac (NOT on your iOS device):

    1. Drag the 1P app to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool, which is likely to try to delete files you need to keep).
    2. Empty the trash and reboot.
    3. Re-download and re-install 1P.

    @bbebop: Sorry for the trouble! As Stephen mentioned, if you can let us know a bit about your setup we will try to reproduce the issue so we can fix it if something is broken. :+1:

    In regard to the iPhone specifically, we have found that there are some bugs related to accessibility options (Zoom and Larger Text, for instance) that cause some crashes. We've reported this to Apple, and for the time being if you are using those settings, turning them down a bit or off completely can help avoid the crashing.

    Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back to you!
