1Password mini has disappeared from Safari toolbar

Have tried installing 1password extensions again, closing and reopening Safari, and restarting computer. Still do not have 1password mini in the Safari toolbar

Hi @actaylor,

I have a few questions.

1. Is it just the icon missing from the toolbar, do the keyboard commands such as ⌘\ for filling a web page or ⌥⌘\ for opening 1Password mini for open and fill?
2. Does the extension show as installed in Safari's preferences? (the Extensions tab)
3. Do you have other extensions that you normally use and are any of them exhibiting similar issues?

There have been occasions where we've seen Safari's extension database become corrupted and wiping the extension database is the only way forward. Hopefully we'll have a better idea of where we stand with these answers.

I have a similar problem. I have an extension for Firefox and the mini app appears as it should in the Menu bar. Yesterday, I used Safari and installed that extension and no mini app showed up in the menu. I’m running Safari 8.0.4 with 1password 5.1; extension 4.3.1 (it shows installed in Extension menu) on MAC 10.10.2. The "Show mini app” is checked. I restarted the MAC and 1Password but nothing changed. I ran diagnostics on the computer as well. What do I try next?

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the 1Password extension in Safari! Thank you for the details about your setup, and for confirming the extension shows up as being installed there.

Please open Safari and go to View > Customize Toolbar. In the toolbar settings that appear, do you see the 1Password extension? If so, try dragging it into the toolbar. Does that help at all?

If it's still a problem, are you able to use the ⌘\ keyboard shortcut to have 1Password fill your login info on a website? Or, is the 1Password extension just not working at all?
