login problem

You have to copy it from 1P and paste it because 1P will work semi-automatically to fill in only logins through a browser. There are some apps on iOS which do integrate 1P but in the case of your Apple login you have to copy and paste, I'm afraid.

Hi @vlj02,
Thanks so much for choosing to support 1Password - I hope that you're enjoying the app so far!
Filling in other apps in the iOS ecosystem is a feature that is brand-new to iOS 8. Our iOS 8 App Extension helps you fill your details in mobile Safari, and in all supported apps. There's a list of Apps that Love 1Password on our blog that highlights all of these awesomely convenient apps. Unfortunately, iOS doesn't always make it easy for 1Password to fill, and those App Store pop-ups are an example of this.
One solution here would be to open 1Password and copy your AppleID password before you purchase anything from the App Store. However, this is hardly convenient. My solution has been to use Diceware for my AppleID so that it is easily memorable (and typeable!) You can read a bit more about Diceware in Towards Better Master Passwords.
I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions or concerns! :)
