Copy or duplicate existing cards?
Is it possible to copy or duplicate existing cards? For work, I have a number of servers that is always growing and the simplest way to add new entries would be to duplicate existing cards and just update the server name and password.

@Andy Whiteford: Currently there isn't a way to 'duplicate' an item, I'm afraid. It sounds like it would really be useful to you, though! Thanks for the feedback. This may be a feature we add in the future! :)

Thanks for confirming. That would be a genuinely useful feature and the only real negative I can find with 1Password at the moment.

Hi @Andy Whiteford,
I know you've posted this in the iOS forums but do you sync with a Mac at all? I ask because on the Mac I do have something like this where I have a template server item and I use the Duplicate option that exists in 1Password for Mac. Even if the editing was likely to occur on the iOS device you could use the duplicate option on the Mac to prep a few new items in advance, ready for use on your iOS device.
Obviously this isn't as good as having a proper duplicate option in iOS, I'm just trying to think of a way to help you now while you wait for this functionality.

Thanks. Yes, I installed the trial on the Mac last night and discovered the duplicate function. One issue though is Dropbox sync requires Dropbox to be installed on the mac and a linked folder set up. I was hoping this would have been baked into the app itself. I need dropbox sync because I want to also sync with my works Windows laptop and Dropbox app and folders is blocked by a policy. I'll need to try out the Windows version at work tomorrow to see if that also requires the Dropbox app to be separately installed too or if it is baked into 1Password. If it is the latter, I could then get away with direct Wi-Fi sync to the Mac when at home as I'm assuming you can't sync to both dropbox and iCloud, it has to be one or the other?

That is correct. You can not sync the same vault to both Dropbox and iCloud. And I believe you will need to install Drobox on Windows in order to use it there. So for now, the best way to do it is to setup WiFi sync on your Mac, and then duplicate the item there.

Thanks. I'll try the Windows version tomorrow when I'm back in the office but if Dropbox needs to be installed, is there any chance of having Dropbox support integrated into 1Password instead of the need to also have Dropbox installed? I ask because other apps already have this integrated support including eWallet which I'm trying to migrate away from.

Hi @Andy Whiteford,
It isn't necessarily impossible, but I imagine we're going to continue to rely on the Dropbox client to sync with their service. I'd be happy to pass the feedback along to our development team for their consideration, though. :)
