App login-how to make it happen

Hi @jahk,
It's all to do with how Apple have designed extensions and what they've done in terms of security. Our 'general' extension, the one designed to allow 3rd party apps to interact with us is actually quite specialised in terms of what it needs to do. As it doesn't fit into one of the four (I think) extension types Apple originally designed we need each app to include support for our iOS app by including our extension in theirs. Now it's fairly easy I believe to do this (well easy for developers) but it does require them to explicitly add support for our extension. What this means is while the list of supporting apps is growing all we can do is encourage others rather than inject our extension in, something Apple definitely didn't want to let anybody be capable of doing for fear of the implications. Here's a current list of Apps ❤ 1Password to give you a feel.
For those apps that aren't currently ❤ing us then I'm afraid it is a case of copying and pasting, using the iOS's multitasking to switch between 1Password and the other iOS app. Extensions are new to iOS 8 so who knows how they may improve over time
As always, if you have any other questions do please ask.

Hi @tonydow,
The badge/icon that we were referring to before is only for iOS Apps as a way to indicate to a user that this app supports our generalised extension. For any website you visit in iOS Safari you would want to use our iOS Safari Extension.
If you have any follow up questions do please ask
