Upgrade Suggestion: Fingerprints to unlock 1Password?
I have a suggestion for the Agilebits folks, as I find it to be a nuisance to always type in my password to unlock I Password Pro. Is it possible that you will, in the future, work on a fingerprint to unlock it on the iphone models? Maybe you already have this available, or maybe it is not possible to do...as I am not a programmer, nor do I know all the tips and tricks of 1Password. This is why I thought I would ask the Support Forum.

I have an ipad air 2 and i use touch id to unlock it.when you open 1password click on the gear icon on bottom left corner,then security and then there is an option for pin and touch id.so when you open 1password you can unlock it with touch id (fingerprint).only when the device reboots you have to reenter master password.
I believe this can be done on iphones with touch id....0 -

As of iOS 8 when Apple opened up access to Touch ID we've worked to offer it as a way of unlocking your vault, just as you were hoping for. Now it does require iOS 8 because prior to this it was an Apple only framework not available to iOS developers.
We have a Touch ID FAQs (1Password for iOS) which might help cover the basics. It works on any Touch ID capable iOS device so it might be you can start using it now.
