Autofill Logins with Multiple URLs

I noticed that if I have an Login with multiple URLs, the browser extension only shows the login if I'm on the page of the first URL listed and not any of the subsequent URLs.

Example: Login has abc.com (first) and xyz.com (second)

If I visit xyz.com, the browser extension does not show the login entry.

    Hi @darwinmach,

I think we're going to need a little more information please. I've tried to replicate your issue on both a Mac and an iOS device but I couldn't.

What I did was I created a fake item and I arbitrarily chose amazon, Facebook and twitter for three website fields. I visited all three sites in Safari on both my Mac and my iOS device and in each instance I opened up the extension. In all six cases I could see my test item.

So it might be a version thing. To help compare against what you have I tested 1Password 5.1 and 5.3 BETA for Mac with the 4.3.1 browser extension (as that is downloaded separately) and on iOS I tested our latest version, 1Password 5.3 for iOS in both Safari and 1Browser.

So do please post back as I'd love to understand. Now one possibility I can think of off the top of my head is if you were adding the additional URLs in a custom section. This partial screenshot may help a bit.

When we add another website directly under the existing one the field is of type URL, so we treat it as an URL. The easiest way to tell is if the text is blue and if you hover the cursor over it that you see a open and fill button pop up at the end of that line. Now other custom fields are just text and we don't do any clever parsing where we attempt to guess what the data represents. Now that might all be completely obvious to you so if it is I apologise, it's just something I thought of just now.

Fingers crossed we can get to the bottom of this

    Hello,

Using 1Password for Windows 4.6.0.585. Chrome extension 4.4.2.90, Firefox extension 4.4.2. The following are screenshots of my test case (shown in Chrome, incognito, but also occurs in regular mode and in Firefox):

@darwinmach: Indeed, if you do not Enable multiple URLs in 1Password File > Preferences > Logins, 1Password will simply ignore all but the first. Having this enabled will slow things down a bit since 1Password has to decrypt and search many more, but it allows you the flexibility of using the same Login across multiple sites. I hope this helps! :)

Ah hah! Clever. I knew something silly had to be amiss here... And yes, it certainly does slow things down, but hey, I get why and it works. I haven't really had the chance to go exploring the program when I probably should.

    Thanks!
