crash and other issues
I would like to talk about a few bugs.
The bug1 and bug2 I have disused before and thought I had fixed it, but have not.
bug1
In secure notes on iPad4 some notes do not show the whole note it cuts off so you do not see all of the note.
I have adjusted the text size in IOS and it would temporally show all of the note and then it reverts back.
I can click edit and it will show the whole note from start to end of the note.
This is not an issue on my iPhone5s that has same exact settings as my iPad4.
bug2
In secure notes on iPad4 and iPhone5s some secure notes do not show the - add to favorites, move to folder, and share secure note below the note.
Adjusting the text size or clicking edit does not have any effect.
bug3
Clicking the key in 1browser to fill in credit card on any shoping website does cause a crash of 1browser every time instantly!
I have not tried this using extension thur Safari yet.
bug4
The author of the last 1password update 5.3 claimed that many crashes had been fixed. What I have noticed is that 1Pasword now has more crashes than before that update.
The 1browser crashes 1Password only happen on my yahoo home page when I scroll links or click on a link to read and then go back and as the links reload load it will crash 1Password.
Also after 5.3 update on one web site login will not fill in user name even if I click on key.
Before 5.3 update it always would.
On another site login never has filled in user name.
These are both big popular major financial web sites.
This happen regardless of any agent I try in 1browser.
Soulution
The crashes do not ever happen if I use 1Password extensions thur safari.
Also thur extensions the website that I could not sign in after 5.3 update I can fill in user name, but the other website that I have never been able to fill in username does not.
Opinion
I am not sure what causes the secure note issue, but it happened about two updates back.
I think their are issues with 1browser that is the major reason for the crashes and the agents need to be updated because I think some of the agents are for older versions of the browsers they are suppose to imitate.
The website that just now stopped allowing the user name to be filled may have been caused in some way by the removal of auto submit even though it has nothing to do with fill.
I never used auto submit for security reasons.
Like I said manually clicking the key does not fill the user name either on the website.

@kunder: Regarding your website filling issues, this could possibly be related to changes in the website itself...but due to the timing and the changes in 1Password for iOS 5.3, I suspect it could be due to improvements in our form filling code. It works better with a lot of historically problem sites, but one side-effect of the new logic being used is that it is sometimes necessary to re-save the login item so that 1Password gets all the information it can about the form itself, which it can then use to fill it in the future. Please do the following:
- Navigate to the website
- Enter your login credentials
- Tap the 'key' icon to bring up the login menu
- Tap + New Login
- Tap Save
- Close the webpage and tap your new login item to have 1Password fill it
If the login is still not filling in both 1Browser and the extension, please start a new thread in the browser filling section of the forums and let us know as much information as to can, including the URL and what is happening when you try to login, so that we can test it ourselves and find a solution for you.
The crashes do not ever happen if I use 1Password extensions thur safari.
This is very helpful, as there are some issues affecting 1Browser currently which do not affect the extension. I would be interested to know if the next update resolves this for you once it is available in the App Store (pending review, currently). Mainly, the crashes that 5.3 fixed were related to accessibility issues in iOS (Zoom, Larger Text, etc.)
In regard to the secure note issues (which you've reported in the past as well), we haven't been able to reproduce this yet ourselves. As for the credit card fill crash, while we haven't been able to reproduce this, I know that we have at least one other customer who has, and I believe we'll have logs for that shortly (if not already).
It would be a great help if you could generate a diagnostic report in 1Password Settings > Advanced > Diagnostics (under Log Settings enable the App and Web logs) > Send Diagnostics (you’ll have to scroll to the bottom) so we can look at the logs to determine exactly what is happening. Please also include a link to this forum thread in the email as well as your forum username so we can 'connect the dots'. Thanks again for your patience. We will get this sorted out for you! :)

Just discovered.
This might help with a fix.
iPad in landscape mode.
bug1 does not happen.bug1
Secure Note bug
This bug only happen for (some) secure notes.
iPad in picture mode.
Can not view the whole secure note.
Clicking edit makes the whole note viewable.
Clicking done makes the whole note viewable temperarly.
Changing text size causes a temperay affect sometimes as well.0 -
Thanks that works for bug 2.
I will wait for a fix for bug 1.0
