Fillin Login/Password for current site after re-entering 1Pass master password - Safari
Using the 1Pass plugin for Safari never enters the password for the currently active site in Safari after I reenter the master password.
This seems like it would be a no brainer. As an example -- I navigate to my bank's website in Safari then discover that the password has timed out for 1Pass. I reenter the master password but then have to click again to remove the 1Pass window (because it doesn't auto search for the current url) then click a 2nd time to restart the 1pass plugin then click on the bank entry to enter the Username & Password.
Why doesn't this happen automatically like it does in LastPass?

You have posted in the 1P for Mac forum but I'm unclear whether you're talking about 1P for Mac or 1P for iOS. It would be helpful in any event if you'd tell us:
- the version number of 1P you're using;
- the version number of the 1P extension in Safari (if you're talking about 1P for Mac);
- if you are talking about 1P for Mac, what your settings are under 1P > Preferences > Security Auto-lock;
- again, if you're talking about 1P for Mac, exactly what you do when you go to your bank's site to make 1P fill in the login details.

Hi @gpmooremd,
I too would be curious to the answers for Stephen_C's questions.
I just locked my vault on my Mac, visited Amazon's login page (which I know I have a Login item for) and when I used the
⌘\
keyboard shortcut I first entered my Master Password as expected but after that⌘\
behaved as it should, my Login item was selected, the fields filled and then submitted. If I picked a site with multiple items that match it shows the filtered list.Once we have a better idea of where you're coming from we'll do our best to help :smile:

Thanks for your response. I had not used the keyboard shortcut as littleBobbyTables suggested (and I've confirmed that this circumvents the problem), but when I click the plugin button on the toolbar of Safari and enter the 1P master password it does not log in automatically to the website in the current browser window.
I'm using:
1Password
Version 5.1 (510027)
Mac App StoreFor the Safari Plugin, I'm on version 4.3.1

Hi @gpmooremd,
I do sometimes forget to check the buttons because I use the keyboard shortcuts so frequently.
Using Amazon again as an example (I'm not a shopping addict btw), if I click on the 1Password browser icon when my vault is unlocked it's equivalent, for me at least, to the
⌥⌘\
keyboard shortcut. It opens the menu but it won't automatically select a Login if only one exists. It shows me the Amazon Login in the filtered list as I expected. If I lock my vault and click on the icon I have to submit my Master Password but then it's like it was above, a filtered list showing the Login but it doesn't select it automatically.As far as I'm aware and I could be wrong, but to the best of my knowledge only the
⌘\
shortcut will fill automatically into an open page.It might be I'm still misunderstanding a particular step in what you normally or indeed that something odd is happening with your copy. I think we're making progress in understanding though so we'll see what you say in your (hopefully) next reply :smile:
