Not filling in log ins [Resolved]

I have just re-installed Firefox and now 1 password doesn't fill in any log in details. It will go to the web site but then I have to copy and paste the user name and log in.
It used to fill in details before, what's happened?

    What is the 1P extension version number in Firefox (and, for good measure, what version of Firefox are you using)? There were problems with the 1P beta extension versions and auto submit in Firefox but the latest beta extension version should have addressed those.

    I suspect from what you say that may not be your problem but I'm not sure. Are you saying that for every one of your login items 1Password fails to fill in your details when you go to the relevant site, or does it affect only some sites? (I'm assuming you have re-installed the 1P extension in Firefox.)

    I almost wonder @malcolm1 if it might be the case that you don't have our 1Password Firefox Extension installed.

    With Firefox open and in focus, if you either click on the 1Password menu bar icon or attempt to open 1Password mini using the keyboard shortcut ⌥⌘\ does it show you the normal menu you would expect to see or does it ask you to install the 1Password extension?

    As a troubleshooting exercise it certainly can't do any harm to uninstall the extension from Firefox, reboot your Mac and then install a fresh copy.

    Please do keep us informed as to how you get along.

    You're both absolutely right. When I re-installed Firefox, I stupidly forgot that I needed to re- install the extension - doh!
    Once I'd done that everything back to normal.
