  • Hi @kayaker,

can I still use wife to sync

I suppose, if she is okay with it. ;)

Kidding, of course. WiFi sync allows syncing between a Mac and an iOS device or between a Windows PC and an iOS device. It does not sync between multiple iOS devices.

Dropbox can sync between any supported devices, so you may want to look into that option:

    Thanks!

Is this new? I though I use to be able to use wifi with my phone and ipad. Will cloud syncing use much data? Wife is ok first full week of retirement!!! Lucky

Nope. WiFi sync has always required a computer. We are looking to see if that is a requirement we can remove in the future, but it hasn't happened yet.

Depends on how much data you store in 1Password and how often it changes. I have over 1000 items stored in 1Password, including a number of (optimized) photo attachments and my data usage is minimal. My cellular data usage is always under 2GB total, often less than 1GB, every month with everything combined and that is with 1 iPhone and 2 iPads.

    Must be nice! :)
