Upgraded to 5.3 on my mac through the App Store. I tried installing the browser extension. It said that 1Password had to be open. I opened it and it asked me if I was new or experienced. I answered experienced. It then prompted me for my configuration file and gave me two sort of filename examples one which was .agilekeychain something. Huh??? I didn't know where this was stored. I did a search on my mac and pointed it at that. It must have been an old file because passwords are in some cases old or wrong. Why did 1Password not know this when I upgraded and how do I fix this???

    Hi @garyb513 ,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password! We'll need a bit more detail here in order to figure out where things got tangled up. Were you already using 1Password 5 prior to this update, or did you upgrade from a previous version ( like 1Password 3)? Is your database synced (if so, please let us know if you're using Dropbox, iCloud or Wi-Fi and the version numbers of 1Password and the OS for other devices you're syncing to.)?

The good news is that, if you were previously using 1Password on this computer, it's likely that your data is still exactly where you left it, we just need to ensure that 1Password is looking at the correct file. :)

Ok. I was using version 5.1 and I did an update to 5.3 from the App Store App. (I am using OS X 10.10.2) My database is NOT synced to any other device.

    Hi @garyb513 ,

Thanks for confirming that. Updating from 5.1 to 5.3 should not require anything so fancy as re-installing the browser extensions. Let's take a closer look at your system to see if we can determine where things are getting tangled up.

I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac:
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac-4.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the Report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

You say you have received my diagnostics report. I have another e-mail asking me for a diagnostic report and a case number. I'm confused. Will I ever get some real help?
