Feature Request - All Platforms - New Category - Insurance Policies
Hi
There is so much information you can store securely in 1Password but the one that seems t be missing is Insurance Policies, I guess I can frog this with another category but when you have some like Passport where you may only have one entry but we all have multiple insurance policies!!!!!
Please, please, please can you add?
Currently running Mac beta 5.4 (2)

Hi @Robster,
Not to detract from your request. When I wrote various password manager converters, I used the Membership category for insurance. The converters create custom fields such as Policy ID, Group #, Insured, Sponsor, Plan, Agent, etc.
You could create a new Membership item, add your favorite custom fields for insurance, and save this item as an empty template item to duplicate when you want to add a new insurance entry.

Hi
Thanks, that sounds like an idea but a category would be much more helpful in the long run.
I will see if they come back with a response! :-)

Hi Robin ( @Robster ),
Thanks so much for the suggestion! We do hear a lot of requests for different categories in 1Password, and we're listening to them all and working to determine how we can best help our users here.
In the meantime, I do have an alternative to MrC's suggestion. In version 5.3, Secure Notes got an awesome update. You can now use sections and custom fields. For me, this means Notes are a lot more powerful for storing all that data that doesn't quite fit into any other category. You can organize the details however you would like! I know it's not a perfect solution, but it might help you keep organized while we deal with the significantly larger task of re-imagining categories in general. :)
