Please give us a little more information:
- From what you say I'm assuming you have previously downloaded 1P5 for iOS and paid for the in app purchase to enable the pro features. Is that correct?
- You refer to having a "new iPhone" which you "purchased back in Dec 2013". Is that the phone to which you downloaded 1P5 for iOS—or is that a phone replacing the one to which you downloaded 1P5 for iOS. (I'm a little confused by the date you mention in the context of a "new phone".)
Basically, you should be able to restore the pro features on a new phone so long as it uses the same Apple ID as the phone originally used to make the in app purchase to enable the pro features.
