the app extension doesn't display the same details as 1Password mini (on Mac)

I'm not sure of the proper terminology but i'll try. To explain my question (which I may apply to the issue of generating passwords I addressed elsewhere).
I am trying to make more use of 1p (5.3) and less of safari's keychain on my devices. I go to a website musing safari and at the logon screen I press the share icon and select 1p from the options and enter my passcode and a list of records appear. This is where question begins. I do not get a compete list of records or categories, ala mini on the mac. I get what appears to be 1Ps interpretation of what it thinks I am looking for. If my site is for a credit card, it displays only my credit card records, which may or may not contain my logon info. I found that if the I cannot get to the logon info this way, I have to have 1p save the information after I enter it, which usually results in my having two records for the same site. I therefore have to in and remove the original and keep the new one.
Is this behavior normal or am I doing something wrong? This ties I with my other issue regarding generated passwords as I eventually want to convert.
Sorry for the length and I hope I made my issue clear.

Hi @rlgleason51,
You mention the share icon there, can I just confirm that we're referring to 1Password 5 for iOS here please. I just want to confirm as you've asked in the Mac section of our forums and I don't wish to confuse you at all by talking about the wrong platform.

Yes, I am referring to 1P5 for iOS. I just realized that I posted to the wrong platform.. I had done a search within the iOS area on this issue and posted a message without noticing that it was in the Mac area. My apologies.

Hi @rlgleason51 ,
I've moved your question into the iOS forum so that other people can more easily find these answers if they happen to have the same question.
And it is a good question. You're right. The app extension that is available in mobile Safari is not quite the same as you might be used to if you use 1Password for Mac or Windows and are familiar with the browser extensions.
When Apple first introduced the app extension in iOS 8, our developers' first priority was creating an extension that could fill Login details, as we figured this would be the most useful implementation that users would appreciate. Now we're working on bulking up the extension and making it more powerful. The app extension can now fill in Credit Card and Identity items as well as your Logins.
I get what appears to be 1Ps interpretation of what it thinks I am looking for.
The list that you see in the App Extension is still limited. You won't see your whole list of Logins, only the ones that match the URL that you are viewing. You should see your full list of available Credit Cards and Identity items below the Logins list. If you're not seeing the Login that you expect, please double-check the URL that you have saved in the Login item. Some sites have a different 'mobile-friendly' version that they default to on iOS devices. If this URL is different than the one you have saved in 1Password, 1Password won't know that the Login and the site match. You can always add additional URLs to a single entry. This will ensure that 1Password will display the Login for all sites (or variations of the site) that you need it for.
I hope this helps to explain a little bit more about the 1Password app extension. If you have further questions though, we're here for you! :)
