Landscape mode for iPhone
hey guys, it would be great if 1PW would support landscape also on iPhone. Especially when I am surfing the web in landscape mode and use the browser plugin of 1PW it doesn't appear in landscape and I physically would have needed to turn phone around if there is a longer list of items. Even if not: its not a nice customer experience. At least the browser plugin should support landscape

Thanks for the suggestion! I've filed an improvement request with our development team for this. I find it hard to imagine we haven't had this suggestion before, but I couldn't find an existing one!

I just purchased an iPhone 6s so I can read my Schwab account using landscape. 1Password will not let the landscape function work. Can you fix this?

Well I am quite optimistic that this feature might come sooner or later. I am using 1PW since years since the first iOS version ever and during the time they implemented a lot of desired features. This is the reason why I love 1PW - they not just throw out the software one time. They maintain it - and this permanent. And it's every time getting better

According to previous posts in this support forum, landscape mode was being worked on way back in Oct 2014. See URL below. I thought for sure this would be fixed by now. Even today another update was released, and it is the 3rd or 4th update for the yet to be released Apple Watch, yet still no support for features on the iPhone 6+ released last fall??
Can you confirm whether this is close to release or if it is still being "considered". Thanks

Guys, I don't mean only 6 Plus - the issue is same on iPhone 6. Well my main point is on iphone 6 the missing landscape mode for browser extension - maybe it makes sense to have a landscape for the app itself as well for "smaller" iphones.

Hi, It's an issue for iPhone but not necessarily iPads as iPads are frequently used in landscape mode but less, in my own experience, in portrait mode. The 1Password Extension can only be used in the orientation set for the device. I have a 4" iPhone and landscape mode is quite cramped.
I would love to see orientation switching in 1Password Extension but I can also understand if it's unavailable for the smaller phones. I don't have any 1Phone 6/6 Plus around to test.

Thanks for all the feedback here, folks. Landscape mode is still something that we want to provide at some point. If I recall correctly there were specific reasons why we don't support landscape mode on the iPhone 6 in 1Browser, but those reasons may no longer hold. I've filed an enhancement request in our bug tracker so that we won't forget to take a look at this problem.
