Different start screens in iPad / iOS Apps
Hi,
I noticed the different start screens in the iPad and iPhone App:
iPad: Favorites
iPhone: Categories
As my typical workflow is: start the app, click into the search field and search for an item --> the start screen on the iPhone is ok. Unfortunately, the start screen on the iPad is the Favorites, which doesn't have a search field.
Following, I have one question and one functional suggestion:
Question: why do iPad and iPhone have different start screens?
Suggestion: you could add a search field to the favorites (which searches all items, not only Favorites).
Best regards,
Olli

Hi,
There is an existing issue that we are working on that prevents the proper screen from being saved. The intent is for it to return to the last screen that you were on.
I'll send a request to the development team regarding searching on the favorites screen.

FWIW I use the app same way that Olli does and I do not care for favorites. Fastest way to use the app is to open it, search/filter, select, copy, go. The favorites screen just gets in he way.

I tend to ignore Favorites and go straight to search as described by @adrainlafond. .

Thanks for the feedback, folks. :)

I like having the favorites option but not having the search field on that tab gets pretty frustrating. I would find it incredibly helpful if you could add that as Olli suggests. It would make your terrific app even better.
