Forgot Master Password - Want to reset and start over. How?

Help! I forgot my master password and the password hint isn't helping me remember. I want to reset 1Password and start over again. How do I go about doing that? There were only a couple of passwords stored so it's no big loss. I've tried deleting and re-downloading the app but the master password window still pops up.

  • I’m using 1Password version #: 4
  • On a (Mac/PC/iOS/Android): Mac OS Mavericks
  • Syncing with other devices (list them): None right now

    Sorry to hear you forgot your Master Password! Check out this guide on how to start over with a new vault. When you relaunch it at the end, be sure to click "I'm new to 1Password" so you can create a new Master Password.
