All accounts, software licenses and secure notes lost

Hi there,

I upgraded 1Password on my MacbookPro to the latest version yesterday. Today I open 1Password 3.8.22 on my iMac and all accounts (email ect.), software license and secure notes are gone. The logins, identities and the wallet (credit cards ect.) are still there. What should I do? For some reasons I can't upgrade 1Password on this iMac. But why does it affect my data if I update the software on another device? :(

    Hi @Christian Eiermann,

Sorry to hear you're not seeing some of your 1Password data. Let's see if we can help you find those missing items.

I'd like to ask you for a bit more info about your setup.

    MacBook Pro:

    • OS X 10.10 Yosemite, correct?
    • 1Password 5.3, correct?
    • 1Password downloaded from AgileBits Store or from Mac App Store?

    iMac:

    • Which OS X version?
    • What method are you using to sync: Dropbox, iCloud, Wi-Fi, or Folder sync?

Looking at 1Password > Preferences > Sync, can you confirm that you are syncing with the exact same vault on both machines (e.g., Dropbox > 1Password > 1Password.agilekeychain)? And when was the vault in question last synced on the iMac?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions, and I look forward to helping you restore your data. :)
