Suggestion: View attachments (images) in landscape and swipe them

Hi, I was wondering if you could add viewing attachments (images) in landscape mode. It's very useful for cards.

Also, when an item has more than one attachment, it would also be useful being able to swipe through them, instead of going back and open the others.

It's been a while since I proposed this. Is there any chance you'll add landscape for image attachments, and being able to swipe between them if there's more than one.

Also adding attachments in the mobile app itself would be very useful.

There is always a chance. Neither of these things are included in the current beta, so it is unlikely we'll see them in the immediate future (next update). That said we are constantly evaluating our development priorities based on a number of factors, so it isn't really possible to comment too far into the future.

I'm so sorry our response made you sad! Believe me, we wish that there were enough hours in the day to implement all of the cool stuff that our users suggest! Unfortunately, that's just not always possible.

We really appreciate you checking in here and letting us know you're still interested in this feature though. When we are looking to add new features to 1Password, user interest is a big factor in the decision-making process. :)

I really don't see why not.

Right now, there are many other concerns for us that are ahead of this feature. For us it's not a question of whether we can do it, but whether we should be devoting resources to it at this time. I don't like being the bearer of disappointing news, but attachments are just not a priority for us right now. And they need a fair amount of work invested in order to bring them up to speed. We simply don't have the resources to commit to them at this point.

I certainly understand and appreciate that this is something that you use a lot, and I do realize it is a long-standing enhancement request. But our current focus is on our Documents feature, which replaces attachments for Teams and Families accounts.

Please know it's still on our list; we haven't closed it or rejected the idea at this stage. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you right now or for the near future. I'm personally still hopeful that we will be able to revisit attachments once we've fried some of the bigger fish, but I can't make any promises.

Allowing swipe between attachments is definitely going to be nice. Seeing any kind of media on a phone nowadays--it's mostly a given that there is a right and left gesture that aid in navigation; it's very unusual when such a common pattern is not available.
