1Password 5.3 crashes when cancelling Touch ID
Hi,
When Touch ID is enabled on 1Password 5.3 on my iPhone 5s or iPad Air 2 (both iOS 8.3), if I click cancel to be able to put my password in manually, 1Password crashes to the springboard. Obviously this isn't ideal because I have to reboot my device to get 1Password to require the master password.
I have Touch ID enabled, and usually use it, but if I'm wearing gloves or Touch ID isn't working it would be useful to be able to be able to put the master password in by cancelling Touch ID.
Thanks.

Hi @TomW28,
1Password is not crashing, just quitting. If you wish to switch to using your Master Password, tap the "Enter password" button instead. The cancel button is for "I didn't mean to launch 1Password". Unfortunately, iOS does not allow us to rename the cancel button to something more descriptive.

Thanks @hayesk for the reply.
I don't have an option to use "Enter Password" unfortunately.
Are there any other options to get around this problem?

Interesting. That is not what mine looks like:
(1Password 5.3, iOS 8.2, iPhone 6)
I wonder if this is something that was changed with iOS 8.3. I'm going to install it and see.

Yep -- that appears to be the difference. I upgraded to iOS 8.3, making no changes to 1Password, and now I see what you see. Unfortunate. I'll mention it to our development team to see if there is anything we can do on our end.

Serves me right for not upgrading my phone promptly. ;)
I've raised the issue with the development team.

Thanks, it's not the biggest problem in the world, but it can be somewhat inconvenient.
Cheers!

Understood! :)

@TomW28 - not all is lost and you don't need to reboot your iDevice to punch in password instead of TouchID.
Just use any finger that is not registered on iDevice and you should see "Enter Password" right above "Cancel"
This may not work if you have registered all 10 fingers though

@devibimal: Thank you for pointing that out! I know maybe I was going crazy. I knew I had been given the option at times still, and apparently it was because my hands were wet from washing my hands! :p

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that, so long as our knuckles remain intact. ;)
So, just to recap, with iOS 8.3, Enter Password is not an option by default in Touch ID prompts for apps; but failing Touch ID authentication will reveal the option. :)
