Same credentials for subdomains on local.dev

I have a login stored for local.dev, managed by MAMP.

When I start a new project, I go into MAMP and make a new subdomain called something like newproject.local.dev. When visiting newproject.local.dev/login, I would expect 1P to offer the credentials it has stored for local.dev.

It doesn't. I've tried with Lenient URL matching on and off and it doesn't seem to matter.

Is this supposed to work the way I expect? I want all of the subdomains that I create on local.dev to already have that saved login, without going into 1P and editing or creating new records. It seems to work this way with other domains.

  • Hi @portlandian,

I'm not able to reproduce this issue. I saved a login item for local.dev, and when I navigate to local.dev, test.local.dev, and somehost.test.local.dev I am offered this login item by 1Password:

I'm not sure at this point what I'm doing differently from you, but:

I'm running 1Password 5.4-BETA5 with Chrome 41.0.2272.118 and 1Password extension beta 4.4.0.5 on OS X 10.10.2. I do not have lenient URL matching enabled.
