bidirectional sync

I have three devices running 1pw. 2 iOS devices and a Windows 8 PC. If i create an entry on an iOS device it doesn't get transferred to my PC when i do a sync. Is this possible to do?

  • Good morning @jjvierra. I'm sorry for the syncing trouble you're running into. I have a couple of questions:

    • Are your two iOS devices syncing properly?
    • What are you using to 1Password on Windows and 1Password on iOS currently?

    yes they are pulling properly from the Windows 8 PC. Just not pushing to the Windows 8 PC. I'm using WIFI sync.

    4.3.1.560 on the PC and 5.4 on iOS.

    @jjvierra: I'm sorry you're having trouble getting things synced back to your PC! We've recently made some improvements to Wi-Fi Sync in the last few 1Password for Windows betas, so that might be worth a try in your case (you can opt-in under File > Preferences > Updates).

    But in the absurd amount of Wi-Fi Sync tests I've done lately this is one issue I actually haven't come across. A few questions, just to make sure I understand correctly:

    • Are all items created on Windows syncing to iOS, or just some?
    • Are any items created on iOS syncing to Windows, or none at all?
    • Do changes made on iOS to items already present on Windows sync over?

    If the answers to these questions are 'all', 'none', and 'no', please try File > Repair 1Password Vault on Windows and then sync again. If you have different answers, we will have to investigate further. Please let me know what you find! :)

    Not sure what changed, but I deleted the ones that weren't syncing from iOS to windows, re-added them and they now sync.
