Master password stopped working

I am running the Mac App Store version of 1Password on multiple devices. I had set each device to use the same master password. Today, I found that my iMac would no longer accept my master password. This computer is running 1Password 5.3 (530029). I am able to open 1Password on this machine using my computer administration login password. My laptop is still running 1Password 5.1. My master password is working fine on that computer. Did the 5.3 release of 1Password change something? I really do not think I was using different passwords on the separate devices. I sync my database using my iCloud account.

    That's an odd situation indeed. I can assure you that an app update cannot change your Master Password. We'll need to take a closer look at your system to determine where things are getting tangled up.

    I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from each of your Macs:

    Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

    Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

    You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the Report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
