Which license upgrade option should I choose?

Hi, I'm getting confused about upgrade license, so please help me.

I have this license: "a Single License for 1Password 3 for Mac".
I purchased this license at 2013-11-03 from AgileBits online store.

I had used 1Password 4 for Mac until a few days ago with above license.
I checked software update of 1Password 4, and now it's upgraded so I am using 1Password 5 for Mac at the moment.

I would like to use 1Password for Windows too, so I want to upgrade my license.
I visited https://agilebits.com/store/upgrade, input my license, and got 4 upgrade options.

  1. 1Password Mac + Windows Bundle, Single license ($34.99 w/ discount)
  2. 1Password 5 for Mac, Single license ($24.99 w/ discount)
  3. 1Password 4 for Windows, Single license ($24.99 w/ discount)
  4. Knox for Mac, Single license ($27.99 w/ discount)

My questions are:

  • My license looks not valid for 1Password 5 for Mac (because upgrade page offers "upgrade to 1Password 5 for Mac" option). But I can use 1Password 5 for Mac with my license. It seems inconsistent. Should I purchase "1Password 5 for Mac" upgrade license at first?
  • I'm not sure what happens if I purchase "1Password 4 for Windows, Single license ($24.99 w/ discount)" and upgrade my license. If I do so, I will no longer use my license with 1Password for Mac (regardless of software versions), right?
  • In conclusion, in my understanding, the right choice for me is "1Password Mac + Windows Bundle, Single license", is it right?

    I was able to find your license information in our system, and I see that you purchased an upgrade to a 1Password 4 for Mac license in November, 2013. Version 5 was a free upgrade from version 4, so you definitely have a valid license for 1Password 5 for Mac. It was listed separately in our system from your 1Password 3 license, so that probably caused some confusion on our upgrade site. I've combined both licenses into the same record on our end so you shouldn't have that problem again.

    As for the Windows version of 1Password, you don't need to purchase the bundle license because you already have a license for 1Password 5 for Mac. You just need the 1Password 4 for Windows license. Don't worry, that won't replace your license for the Mac version, it will simply give you a license for the Windows version in addition to your existing license for the Mac version. So it's not really an upgrade in the traditional sense, but we refer to it as an "upgrade discount" since you've previously purchased products from the AgileBits Store.
