Hi!
Here are the steps:
1) Have the settings in the app to prompt password every time the 1Password goes to background.
2) Open any saved record
3) Scroll to bottom, press Share
4) choose share via plain text
5) after the keyboard with preloaded text appears, press home button
6) open the app again
7) enjoy :(

Expected:
prompt a password, so i can continue using the app

Actual behaviour:
there are more examples of what happens.
Check the screenshots:
double indicator with message keyboard
No keyboard

Hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.

  • Hi @Dumomo,

I take it you do not have Touch ID enabled in 1Password? With Touch ID enabled I'm unable to reproduce this issue.

    Please let me know,

    Ben

    I don't. It's a iPhone 5 device.
    It's worth mentioning that it's 100% reproducibility.
The main issue here is that when I cannot "focus" the keyboard on the password field, so I am unable to enter the app. All text is being entered in the "message" field in the keyboard's inputAccessoryView.
Do you need a video of the issue being reproduced?

    Hi @Dumomo,

thanks for the steps to reproduce. I was just able to reproduce it on my iPod touch. I reported this issue to our developers and hope it gets fixed soon.

I found a workaround that allowed me to enter the master password again: force quit 1Password and restart the app.

    Hope that helps.
