Where is this file and why does this window continuously open?
I am continuously getting a 'where is 2BUABC4S2C.com.agilebits.onepas' window opening. I have looked for it (including invisible files), but it simply does not exist. Is there a way to correct this so that this window does not keep opening?

Hi @cybeartist,
Thanks for posting your question here and including the helpful screenshot. You may want to refer to our knowledgebase article about where data is stored by 1Password 5 for Mac.
2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepas is truncated so it could refer to one of two things, depending on where you downloaded 1Password 5 from.
Mac App Store:
2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper
is a folder of support files, and it should be located in~/Library/Containers/
.AgileBits Store:
2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword4-helper.plist
is a preferences file that should be located in~/Library/Preferences/
.If you don't find the applicable file, it may have been unintentionally deleted, which sometimes occurs when using an app cleaner utility, which is why we recommend against using those with 1Password. You may want to look for it in the Trash.
If you are using Spotlight to search, make sure you are searching for the right filename. You may want to copy/paste "2BUA8C4S2C."
Have you noticed any particular trigger that causes this popup window to open? Is 1Password working as expected? If so, do you have more than one copy of 1Password installed? These answers will help us figure out how to help you fix this issue. Thanks!

Yes, it is triggered when I am adding a new contact (most of the time). Thanks for the preference file locations--I'll check them out the next time this occurs.

Hi @cybeartist,
I'm not sure exactly what you mean about "adding a new contact". Do you mean this happens when adding a new contact in the Contacts app on your Mac? Or, is this something that happens when adding a new Identity item to the 1Password app?
Did you have any luck checking those file locations? If you're still having trouble, please let us know if the 1Password app is working correctly in general. Thanks!

Never mind. I'm an idiot!

No, I posted deliberately but my post was stupid. Unfortunately, a post, even a stupid one, can not be deleted. It can only be modified.

Ah, ok then. But I stand by my statement that you're not an idiot! :)
