On 1P 3.8.22 Family pack MAC + Win. All confused about staying current. Help.
Hi. I am running on 1P 3.8.22 and upgraded my original license to a Mac + Windows Family Pack. However, I'm confused by all the various versions and when I ask the software if there are any updates, it tells me 3.8.22 is the latest one. Though I know that you are now at Release 5, right?... I use Dropbox to share db across platforms too. Mac (Rel 10.10), iPhone, iPad, Windows. What are my options for getting and staying current, and what are the costs, if any? I do not need to go to Apple to get the upgrades either, as I'm comfortable getting downloads from your site. What should I do?

Hi @Dadad,
The latest update for 1Password 3 for Mac is 3.8.22, which is why it says your version is up to date. 1Password 5 for Mac is a paid upgrade from version 3, so it's downloaded separately. If your Mac is running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) then you can use 1Password 5, which you can download from our download site.
If you have a license for 1Password 5 for Mac, you'll be able to add your license file to 1Password 5 to fully activate it. You can have your license information resent to you from the "I've lost my license" section of this site.
If your license is only for 1Password 3 for Mac and you haven't upgraded it to version 4 or 5 you can visit our Upgrade Store and enter your license code to see your upgrade discount and license options.
Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you have more questions about that. Thanks!

Thanks Drew! That helps. I'll check out the upgrades and make a decision.
