Multiple Devices - Problem with Original Download on my 2010 Mac Book Pro [Resolved]
2010 Mac Book Pro was my original 1 Password purchase. Didn't use this computer much - FORGOT the password!
Now I have 1 Password installed on my I-Phone 5, I-Pad and I-Mac all using the same passcode with I-Cloud (plus Dropbox).
How do I get my original Mac Book Pro to work with these other devices? Can I delete & reinstall? Can I delete and buy a new license for my Mac Book Pro?
Help!

Hi @dwbloe,
Which version of 1Password is currently installed on your MacBook Pro? (If you're not sure, open the 1Password app and go to the menu for 1Password > About 1Password.) If you're using 1Password 4 or 5, you can reset it on the MacBook by following the steps in this knowledgebase article. Then you should be able to sync your data to it.
If you have trouble with that, we can definitely help, we'll just need to know a few more details:
- What version of Mac OS X is on your MacBook Pro?
- What exact version of 1Password is installed on your MacBook Pro?
- What version of Mac OS X is on your iMac?
- What exact version of 1Password is installed on your iMac?
- Are you using the AgileBits Store version or the Mac App Store version of 1Password on your Macs?
- Are you using iCloud or Dropbox to sync your 1Password data between your iMac, iPhone, and iPad?
Thanks in advance!
