Concerned about security of 1Password Master Password after reading 2012 article from Elcomsoft
I was reading and read that a older version of 1password had the master password cracked in 5 seconds. Here is the link 1password pro was hacked!

Please calm down: you really shouldn't expect a considered response within one minute of making your original post. :)
I note the article was written in 2012. Further, if you follow chains of links from the comments on the article you end up here:

I am certainly no security expert but I do have great faith in 1P and the security provided by my own master password. It would take a lot more than that original article to make me worry about using 1P.
Please note I'm merely a volunteer here and don't work for AgileBits. I've no doubt one of AgileBits' experts will be along in due course to provide further re-assurance...but in the meantime breathe deeply and don't panic! :)
