How can I tell if 1password is backing up to dropbox

What leads me to be concerned is that I don't see an entry under Dropbox\Apps\1Password\1Password.agilekeychain\data\default for today, even though I entered a new login account today.

This lead me to try and make sure that 1password is syncing with dropbox.

Here's what I did:
1. In Settings, i selected "sync"
2. I then selected "start syncing"
3. I was then prompted to "choose a sync method", and i chose "sync with dropbox"
4. An "account" appeared entitled "Todd Sheaffer". I selected this account.
5. I was then prompted to "choose a vault", and i chose the existing "apps/1password/1password.agilekeychain". This was the only available option
6. I then received a message that stated "Vault Exists. This vault already exists on your iphone"

Does this mean I can safely rely upon the fact that 1password is syncing with my dropbox account?

    Hi @estatereal ,

    If you go to Settings > Vaults and tap the ⓘ beside the vault name, it will tell you if it is syncing to Dropbox in the first row. Tap the Sync Now button and look at the "Last Sync" and watch the progress. If it syncs, it will show there. If there is an error, it will notify you.

    Didn't quite work as you suggested. Here's what I got:

    1. When I hit the ⓘ beside the vault name, it showed an option under "Primary Vault" of "Start Syncing".
    2. So I hit "Start Syncing".
    3. This asked me to "Choose a Sync Method", and I chose "Sync with Dropbox".
    4. There was an option called "Todd Sheaffer - using 1.65GB of 2.5 GB", and I chose this option.
    5. Next screen asked me to "Choose a Vault". There was only one option - "Apps\1Password\1Password.agilekeychain", which I selected.
    6. When I selected "Apps\1Password\1Password.agilekeychain", a message popped up that stated "Vault Exists. This vault already exists on your iphone". There was nothing else for me to select besides "Got it".

    Please advise on what I should do.

    Hi @estatereal,

    I can reach that error message but only if I have a secondary vault already syncing to that .agilekeychain.

    In 1Password for iOS, if you go to Settings > Vaults, do you see multiple vaults listed?

    If you do, are one of these other vaults syncing to the .agilekeychain that your Primary vault should be? The instructions provided by hayesk should allow you to check each vault in turn.

    Now if you only have a single vault and you're seeing that error, that's very odd indeed. Let's see if my hunch has any merit first though. If I am correct we can sort this out. We'd have you remove the duplicate vault at which point you should be able to get Dropbox properly syncing once again.
