Suggestion: Logins need account name, email and password fields by default

i don't like that the login entries now seem to have a default section at the top for JUST username and password

Problem is almost every login I have has three bits: username, password and often an email address associated with the account. and not all my logins use the same email address.

yes I can (and have) added a custom field below for that, but I'd like to keep the three bits of info together visually at the top.

    Hi @bryanzak,

Thanks for taking time to send us your suggestion, we appreciate it!

The reason the username and password are at the top of a Login item is because those are used to actually log into a website (which is usually the main purpose of a Login item). Other information that might be associated with a web account (like an email address, full name, street address, phone number, etc) can be added to the Login item if you want, but those details aren't normally used for filling a login web form (unless a site uses your email address as your username, of course).

Now, that's not to say we'll never change the layout of a Login item, but I wanted to explain the reason why those fields are listed at the top. I can certainly let our developers know you'd like to put other, non-login form details at the top along with the username and password, although I can't make any promises.

Again, we definitely appreciate the suggestion! If you have more feedback or questions, please let us know - we're here for you! :)
