Touch ID & iOS apps ?
I decided to try out 1password when it said it works with TouchID. But, what I want to do, and what I thought 1password would do, is use TouchID to sign in to specific apps where I'm always having to manually enter my password, but, this isn't happening. Am I at the mercy of the individual iOS apps? I hate having to enter passwords when I should be able to just use TouchID, I mean, isn't that the point of TouchID? (iPhone 6)
Is this even the intent of 1password?
my bank and paypal apps are the main ones I use most where I have to enter my password every single time, and I'm just tired of it. Am I looking in the right place for a solution, or is there no solution other than whether the app supports TouchID?

Hello @benji888578,
The closest we have to offer you is that apps in iOS that implement our extension can allow you to access and fill your username/password through our app which would be unlocked with TouchID. They basically have to opt in to use 1Password.
If you are trying to fill a username/password field for a website you can install the 1Password "sharing" extension and works quite well.
Unfortunately beyond that we can't modify the behaviour of these other apps without their consent (it would be impossible). But you can always request that they add support for our extension so that you can have the convenience of using 1Password with TouchID to input your username and password.

I thought I was at the mercy of the individual apps, was hoping for a solution that would at least fill in the password for me. Oh well, I'll have to find a way to give these apps feedback. Thanks for the quick reply!
