I love your product, but I have one suggestion for an improvement :)
Especially when you 1password is original mac based program.
Well the idea is, to be able to save under a category you hardware products, like a MacBook Pro, this including serial number, date and receipt number and such.
This I really relevant since apple product have a high marked value and therefore are stolen a lot. Sad but true :)
So it would be nice to have a dedicated place too keep safe you serial an IMEI number for you phone just in case.
This of course also applies to all other technology products.

    @mkfs,

    The AgileBits folks have lots of requests to add additional categories, and I'm sure they'll add your vote for this one (I recall seeing recent requests about this).

    As a suggestion, for now, use a Secure Note for this type of non-confidential information. One reason is that its easy to copy/paste info from diagnostic output, reports, PDFs, or whatever, and simply paste the data into a note (vs. adding one field after another, and their values, into a single entry). I commented similarly here.

    Hi @mkfs,

    Thanks for taking the time to send us your request! As MrC mentioned, additional categories are among our most requested features. Although I can't promise anything, I'll certainly pass your suggestion to our developers. I'm sure others would find that very useful as well! For now, like MrC suggested, we usually suggest storing data in Secure Notes if there's not a more suitable category.

    If you need anything else, please let us know, thanks!
