iPhone 5 - constantly asks for Master Password

Auto-Lock is set at 1 hour and Lock on Exit is off, but every time a password is required the Master Password is requested

Can I ask, is the Master Password being requested when you try to enter the 1Password for iOS app or is it being requested when you try to open the iOS 1Password Safari Extension?

I know we're working on an improved behaviour with the extension. Currently, if your vault is locked for any reason and you try to access it via the extension, authentication is required each time - the extension isn't resetting any timers. This was deliberate but we're reviewing if it makes sense. Personally I'd like to see it behave in the same way as the Mac version where unlocking the vault in the extension unlocks the vault in the main window.

Now it might be this isn't the case for you and I've misjudged the problem. If that is the case please do let us know :smile:

Hi @gmale.

This is working as intended. The Safari extension unlocks independently of the main app. Currently the extension must be unlocked for each use, but that is a behavior we are evaluating.
