1Password mini not loading

I've just updated my OS to Yosemite 10.10.3 and now the 1Password mini icon in the menu bar does not appear until I open the 1Password application... Previously it loaded automatically on startup--how can I get that back?

Thanks!

Please make sure in 1Password > Preferences > General you have checked the option Always keep 1Password mini running.

    Hi @adamllurie,

If Stephen_C's post didn't help there is another possibility. It's rarer but I have come across one case where we needed to reset the launchd entry. The following steps may help.

    1. Launch 1Password and enter the preferences.
    2. Disable the Always keep 1Password mini running option at the top of the General tab.
    3. Close the preferences and then quit 1Password.
    4. You will see a new dialog asking if you wish to enable 1Password mini. Click on the Do not enable button.
    5. Launch 1Password again and unlock your vault.
    6. Re-enable the Always keep 1Password mini running
    7. Reboot your Mac to see if it helped.

Let us know how you get along.

Hello, the option Always keep 1Password mini running was checked, I followed the instructions above which seems to have solved the issue--on reboot 1Password mini showed up without needing to open 1Password first. Thanks!!!

I'm glad we could resolve this one for you @adamllurie  I don't know how we got into this state on your machine but at least there was an easy enough fix (at least I hope you felt it was easy). Hopefully 1Password runs without fuss now
