Switch to Wi-Fi Sync

Impossible to synchronize with Wifi my Mac and one iPad ... My two other devices are synchronizing with the cloud, and I want synchronizing the iPad and iPhone of my friend . We want have the same vault .... Have install the latest version of 1 password Pro...When I ask synchronisation by Wifi...The device don't see the Wifi connection and to ask "open synchro Wifi via 1Password on My Mac" ...It's Open... I see the code and they are on the same WiFi :-(
I have try to stop the synchronisation with the cloud, and have a folder on the Mac...But same thing...Could you help me please ? Thanks a lot ;-)

@Ladrans: Sorry for the trouble. I hope you don't mind, but I've split this into a separate discussion, since it sounds like you're using a different version and not receiving a similar error message. If that isn't the case, please let me know.

In fact, it sounds like you may be using an old version of 1Password for iOS. Could you tell me which OS and 1Password versions you have on each device you want to sync?

Just to be clear, Wi-Fi Sync works between a single computer and one or more iOS devices, so if there is more than one computer you need to sync that won't be an option for you. Dropbox, however, could be a good fit.

Also note that Wi-Fi Sync works between Macs (or PCs) and iOS devices using 1Password version 4 or 5. If you do have 1Password Pro version 3 on one or more iOS devices, they will only be able to sync with 1Password for Mac version 3. Similarly Dropbox Sync does not work in 1Password 3 on iOS, but it is supported by all current versions of 1Password.

Thank's a lot for your help.
All the version are the last and Pro, and I have try WiFi Sync only between my MacBook Pro and one device with the 1password folder onto my computer
2 Mac Version 5.3
2 Windows 7 Version 4.
2 iPhone + 2iPad Version 5.4.1

Before your answer I decided to use Dropbox with a shared folder between my friend and myself. And actually it's perfect!
The only remaining problem is that I have not found a Windows version in French, and that ergonomics is really not the same. The Windows version does not automatically completed the login and password in Firefox, but OK in Chrome ...
Is there a French version for Windows ? if not do you think it will soon exist?
Can we hope that one day look like ergonomics than Mac ;-) ?
Whatever happens this software is really great ; many many thanks for your help.

Hi @Ladrans,

We are currently working on localising 1Password for Windows like we now do on the Mac and iOS. I suspect we wanted to add it a platform at a time so the task wasn't too much of a mountain.

I don't think we'll see a universal UI over the platforms. We want to try and keep 1Password in the look and feel for each platform. Of course you never know, they may gravitate a bit towards each other, it's always hard to know what the future may bring.

If you're having problems filling in Windows Firefox it might be worth creating a new thread in our dedicated Saving and Filling in Browsers forum and we can see what we can do to assist.

@Ladrans: If you're so inclined, we actually have the translation project on Crowdin. The French localization is available in the betas currently; it just isn't finalized. An extra set of eyes is always welcome. Cheers! :)

Cool ;-) I installed a new PC for my friend last weekend with the last "1Password" version for Windows, before reading your comment... and I see some french words, I was very surprise... When I have a moment I look more closely at the french windows version and you would return ...Thank's a lot at the 1Password team. Now I hope one day soon, to see the same folders under Mac OS and Windows :)
