Cannot sync with Dropbox
I haven't seen any updates go from my iPhone to my Mac, or vice versa, in weeks. The problem I have here is that I would prefer not to lose any data. Since I've created logins and notes on each device, how can I re-establish sync without losing some of the logins created on either device? I am not seeing communication either way, even though the Mac app says I've synced within past 5 minutes.
For example, I've seen a suggestion that uninstalling and reinstalling the iOS app will help. But will I lose any unsynced iPhone logins in the process?
iCloud Sync is not an option, as I didn't buy the Mac app from Mac App Store.

Hi @seethemoon,
The first thing I'd recommend doing is making a backup:
iOS: https://support.1password.com/ios-itunes-backups/
Mac: https://support.1password.com/backup-faq/mac.htmlThen please try turning Dropbox sync off, and then back on:
https://support.1password.com/dropbox-introduction/
Please let us know how that turns out. :)

@bwoodruff or anyone else who can assist:
When I turn off Mac app sync, should I delete the Dropbox data as well?
Furthermore, I don't see how to turn off iOS sync in the app's settings or in the posted link.
Thanks for your help!

Hi @seethemoon,
No, please don't delete your Dropbox data.
To stop syncing in 1Password for iOS, launch 1Password, then go to Settings > Sync > Sync Service > Disable Sync. Wait a few moments, then turn it back on again.
Please let us know if you have any other questions!

@Aleen I don't see that.
When I go to Settings > Sync, I see START SYNCING or ITEMS.
When I click START SYNCING, I see options for iCloud, Dropbox or Wifi.
I know what you're thinking: I'm probably not syncing, right? Well, if I click through to Sync with Dropbox (which I had previously set-up and was working for a good long while until recently), I see my account and click it. When I see the vault I'm using, I click it and see this message: VAULT EXISTS This vault already exists on your iPhone.
I'm not really sure where to go from here.

Hi @seethemoon,
I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the Report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
Ben
