Using 1P generated Passwords

How do I get the 1P generated passwords into an account. Must I do that step by hand?
How do you use one password for accounts that first ask for User ID, then send you to the login area

    When you ask how to get a generated password into an "account", are you referring to a website account? If you have a Login item in 1Password for a website, and you want to change your login password (and use the password generator to do so), you can follow the steps here: How to change a password for a site saved in 1Password

    How do you use one password for accounts that first ask for User ID, then send you to the login area

    If a site asks for your username and password on separate pages, you'll need to create a multi-page Login item by following these steps: Using 1Password with login sequences split across multiple pages
