Possibility to change the names of the categories

Hi,

Is it possible to change the name of the category or create custom categories? For example, now I had to put numbers of my sim-cards under the Fishing license.

I also need to store some information, for example license plates of my cars or contract numbers of my internet provider and I don't have a category for that.

    It currently is not possible to change the names of categories or to create new one. These are very frequently requested additional features, though, so I'm sure your question will be recorded as a vote in favor of adding those capabilities.

    You can create custom fields within a category, though, which might serve your needs in some cases. For my vehicle information, including license plate numbers and VINs, I use the Secure Notes category.

    hawkmoth is correct and I'm sorry it isn't better news. Hopefully repurposing another category or using a Secure Note can be sufficient as a workaround for now. This is one of our most popular requests so the only reason why we haven't resolved this yet is because of the complexity involved. Obviously on the surface it doesn't seem complex but the categories are baked into the code and data format - that's the difficulty. I look forward to the day we add this :smile:
