Lost Pro Feature
Dear 1Password,
I face a problem today. I purchased 1Password in 2013 when it was still 19.99$ and I got all the features. Unfortunately, today I backup my iPhone and then I restore it on another iPhone. When I open 1Password again on my new iPhone, I saw the Pro feature was removed, and I could not restored it. I believe that it is because 1Password is free now with In-App Purchase. Please let me know how I can get the Pro feature back, as I dont want to pay more $9.99.
My account is < snip >
Thanks,
Long

I removed you personal information (email) as it could get gobbled up by evil spam bots patrolling the net.

Is this the same Apple ID you used to purchase the app to begin with or is it possible a new one with the changes for family sharing etc.
If it is new I am afraid that the purchase will not carry over. I faced the same issue myself. I ended up purchasing the pro again, because I had created new IDs when family sharing debuted.
But to clarify can we get a little more information regarding that original purchase ?

Thanks for your response. Yes I used the same Apple ID to purchase 1Password. I'm pretty sure that it's purchased under my own Apple ID, it is not purchased with family sharing as I use it alone, by myself.
I attached the recipe from Apple. Please help me check.

@longtrieu that is a receipt for an older version of 1P. The current version (which needs iOS 8) is 1P5 for iOS. The purchase of the pro features in the newer version is something that is not affected by you owning an older version, sorry.

Hi folks,
Anyone who had purchased the 1Password 4 for iOS app was grandfathered into the 1Password 5 for iOS IAP. One critical thing is that the 1Password 5 for iOS app must have been installed while you were logged into the Apple ID that you used to purchase 1Password 4 for iOS:
If you were logged into the App Store with a different Apple ID at the time 1Password 5 for iOS was installed you must install the app and reinstall it (**note: this will erase all data, so be sure to back up first: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-ios/5/en/topic/itunes-backups **).
If you're still having trouble after that, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
Then attach the entire file to an email to us:
support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
A short note here with your ticket ID which our friend BitBot will email you once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
Ben
