    Hi @znet,

I suspect this page on Security">1Password for iOS app > Settings > Security may prove helpful in understanding the lock settings. Is it possible you have Lock on Exit disabled and a long Auto-Lock timer?

    Hi @znet,

When you launch 1Password on an iPhone there is a Settings screen, accessible by tapping on the cog button at the bottom of the screen. In there you will find the various menus of which one is Security.

If you want 1Password to lock every time you leave the app then you want Lock on Exit enabled. At the moment it sounds like it is turned off and there is a timer in effect. That's what the Auto-Lock is. Instead of locking as soon as you leave the app the Auto-Lock is "please leave my vault unlocked for this period of time, if I haven't come before then please lock". If you re-enter 1Password for iOS though it does reset this Auto-Lock timer. Auto-Lock is a convenience to those that find themselves jumping backwards and forwards into 1Password for iOS and don't want to be entering their Master Password (for example) that frequently.

So we don't have a log out button in that sense but instead have settings to handle this automatically. This is quite like 1Password for Mac where we have various timers in place too.

    Does that help at all?
