Editing iPad Password
Even though reveal password is enabled one cannot easily move the cursor to a specific character to change just one character. Why can't the actual password field be visible for editing?

Hello @MikeV99,
The reason we can't make it a regular field for editing is due to autocorrect in iOS. Autocorrect will scan and save words in text fields in your apps to enhance its autocorrect dictionary. Because of this it may be possible that iOS will save your passwords to a file outside your 1Password vault (in the autocorrect dictionaries). iOS will not do this for secure fields (fields that show the dots instead of characters), and there is no way to tell iOS not to scan a regular text field in the app. Because of this security risk, we have chosen to not make it a regular text field for editing.
What I will do is add your vote to a request to mirror the cursor position to the revealed password text below the password field so you can at least see where the cursor is when editing.
