At adding new item - bug in naming?

When you are already in a category and hit +, the name is already filled in and you have to erase it first.
When you do the same from the Categories screen, it works ok.
E.g. when I am at Secure Notes and hit +, the name "Secure Note" is filled in and I have to erase it first.
I'm using iPad and iPhone with iOS 8.3
