Please remember last-used vault
Like many others, I have a Home vault (Primary) and a Work vault (Secondary). I understand that it's not currently possible to unlock the secondary without also unlocking the primary, however I spend way more time in the secondary vault than the primary. Almost every time I launch the 1Password IOS vault, it puts me back in the Primary vault and then I have to manually switch to the secondary which is hugely annoying. I work in IT and use my secondary vault probably 50x more often than I use my primary vault (which is generally only used when paying bills online).
Sometimes, apparently at random, the app actually takes me back in right where I was when I last used 1Password; in the secondary vault viewing a specific entry.
Is there any possible way for 1Password to ALWAYS remember which vault was active the last time I used it? I think it would alleviate many people's primary/secondary vault issues by simply opening the same vault that was accessed the last time the application was used.
1Password Version: 5.4.2

This doesn't address your question about remembering the last vault used, but I thought I'd ask if you have thought about making the vault you use 50x more often into your primary vault and moving the current primary one to secondary status? I don't think the current version can do what you want, but this approach would provide more convenience for you while the AgileBits folks consider your request for that feature.
I'm not exactly sure how to do this with the iOS application, but if you are interested, I'm sure we can get you the help you need.
Edit: You'd need to do the swapping in the desktop application, not in iOS. Is that an option for you?

@essambk: Indeed! This means that 1Password is still in memory, so it just picks up where you left off when you switch back to it. However, when you 'return' to 1Password after a longer period of time (or using apps that needed the memory), it will be launching all over again (this is just how iOS manages resources).

I think you may be right. At any rate, I know that we'd like to add more flexibility when it comes to vault switching (or outright swapping) in the future, so thanks for letting us know how you'd find this functionality useful! :)

@hawkmoth Unfortunately that's not an option. The "50x" database is for work and is shared with others. If I made that my primary, unlocking it would also unlock my personal database which I do not want shared. I primarily use the IOS app because most of my passwords are for SSH terminals, remote desktop sessions, servers, etc. which do not have a 1Password plugin or the app is not installed because it is not my machine.
@brenty Could the last used vault and entry be stored in the application preferences (or even in the primary vault itself) instead of storing it exclusively in memory? Even if I reboot my phone, 1Password remembers the basic settings. This could be treated the same way the Security, Sync, Display, etc. settings are stored.

It isn't impossible. :) I'll be happy to pass the suggestion along to our developers for their consideration. Thanks!
