@eriksmoen: While installing the 1Password app is simple enough, hopefully you have your 1Password vault on another device, sync'd to the cloud, or otherwise backed up elsewhere, as AgileBits has neither your 1Password data nor the Master Password you use to secure it.

I hope you don't mind, but I've moved this discussion to the iOS category of the forums, since that's the one were discussing.

But first thing's first: go to the App Store on your iPhone, and you can download 1Password. The current version (for iOS 8, which you'll be running on your iPhone 6) is 1Password 5, which is a free app with an in-app purchase for Pro Features (if you hadn't previously purchased 1Password 4. If you don't have your 1Password data though, you'll simply have to start over with the new app.

However, if you can tell me what other devices you're trying to sync with, as well as the OS and 1Password versions you have there, I'll be able to give more specific suggestions. Thanks in advance! :)

    Thanks Brenty,
I don't know the version I had, but it was a different look than the current one. Probably at least 3-5 years old. I didn't have it 1Password on any other devices, but I do have my iPhone 6 synced with my SurfacePro3 and my iPad. When I recently switched from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 all my apps appeared automatically on the 6, including 1Password. The 1Password app didn't disappear until a few weeks later.

  • 1Password 3 for iOS would fit your description:

This version is no longer sold and the App Store will only allow downloads of it in limited situations.

It sounds like you'd be best off using the newer version, which does have the ability to sync with your other devices if you so desire.
