Day 1....
I can't seem to get this thing to work....
I downloaded the Walmart app as it is supposed to work with 1Password.
I give up... It just doesn't like me.
I have a new iPad Air and a new iPhone 6 Plus.
Both are running the latest IOS.
The Walmart app will not except the generated password.

Hope I do this right. This is my second attempt to get help.
I installed 1Password yesterday on my new iPad2 Air and iPhone 6 Plus both with the latest IOS Updates.
I also installed Walmart's app as it was one of your approved apps.
When trying for the first time to set up both; the 1Password and Walmart's apps, I got an error message from the Walmart app that said something like "Opps, an error occurred. Please retry.
After several retries, I generated a new password with 1Password and copied the generated password into the Walmart app.
Same response message from the Walmart app.
So I went to Walmart.com and changed the password to the generated password.
Same response message from the Walmart app., however the Walmart.com site worked just fine with the generated password.
I am about to delete both apps.

Hi @EdBaker,
I'm sorry you're having trouble using the 1Password extension in the Walmart app on your iPad and iPhone! It looks like you posted about this in two different discussions but are having a different issue than either of those threads, so I merged your messages into this new discussion to avoid confusion. I hope you don't mind!
So, if I understand the situation, you've created a Login item for Walmart.com in 1Password and have updated your password in that Login item and in your account on the Walmart.com site, but when you open the Walmart app and try to use the 1Password extension to sign in, the Walmart app gives you an error. Is that all correct? And, is the exact same problem happening on both your iPad and iPhone?
If so, let's try a few quick tests to narrow down the cause of the problem. Can you please try this:
- Open the 1Password app on one of your iOS devices.
- Go to the Categories section and find your Login item for Walmart.com.
- Tap the URL field in that Login item to open the site in the built-in browser in 1Password.
- If necessary, navigate to Walmart's login page.
- Tap the 'key' icon in the toolbar and select your Walmart Login item.
- Your username and password should be filled - if so, tap the Sign In button.
Are you correctly signed in, or does the Walmart site give you an error? If it works, please also try this:
- Open the Safari browser on one of your iOS devices and go to Walmart.com.
- Navigate to Walmart's login page.
- Tap the 'Share' icon in the toolbar and choose the 1Password extension.
- Choose your Walmart Login item.
- Your username and password should be filled - if so, tap the Sign In button.
Does that work, or do you receive an error?
If you're able to sign into the Walmart website after 1Password fills your username & password, it should also work in the Walmart app. If you aren't able to sign into the Walmart website, there's likely a problem with your username or password for that site. If you copy & paste your username & password from 1Password into the login form (instead of using the extension) does that make any difference?
If you can let us know how that goes, we should have a much better idea about the problem and how to solve it. Thanks in advance! :)

Thank you for your through response.
Time doesn't allow me to follow your instructions just now.
I will respond later today when time allows.
Thank you again for your efforts and response.

Hi Drew -
Fired up the ol' Walmart app this afternoon and it worked just fine on the iPad with no further input from me!!!
On the iPhone, it is asking me to log in.
I am 74 years old, and have been an Electrical Engineer most of my adult life programming programable controllers until retirement four years ago.
That type of logic and thinking was a piece of cake as I never expected it to be easy. So I would attack it with vigor, knowing of its complexity.
1Password is designed to be easy. I'm sure I must be attempting to make it much more difficult than it really is.
Ok, got it working.
Two things I have learned: (relearned)
- My iPhone/iPad and the Internet does not give instantaneous results. Ie: had I waited awhile (Lord only knows how long), my problem would have most likely cleared itself.
I forgot number 2. Like I said, I'm 74 years old.
