Purchased additional licenses

Registering multiple Apple devices terribly confusing. I'm using two different passwords and I've bought additional licenses that I'm sure I don't need. Love the program but where's the support?

    Support begins here. AgileBits prefer support to start in the forums, as often one answer can help many people, and also experienced users can help before the AgileBits staff can find the time to answer. Support gets moved to email when necessary.

    You may very well have more licenses than you need. Basically, you need one for each platform (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android) and one license covers all devices for that platform.

    It will help if you can say what devices you are using 1PW on, and if you are using a Mac, whether you bought direct from AgileBits or from the Mac App Store. Then the staff can unravel the problems.

    We're here for you! Thanks for contacting us with your license question.

    I see in our sales records that you do indeed have multiple licenses for 1Password 5 for Mac. I'm so sorry if our licensing policy confused you, or if anything led you to believe you'd need to pay for it more than once. A 1Password license never expires, and one license is all you need to register 1Password 5 (as well as versions 3 and 4) on all of your Macs and the Macs of up to 5 family members in your household. I'm going to send you a separate email shortly regarding a refund, so please keep an eye out for an email from AgileBits.

    Going forward, if you ever see the "Trial Expired" notice in 1Password 5 for Mac, it just means that you have to apply your existing license to the copy of the software that you're using, to take it out of trial mode.

    When in doubt, feel free to contact us to ask if you need to make an additional purchase before you buy and we'll be happy to clarify what's needed. Again, we're sorry for the confusion, and we can continue this conversation via email. Thanks for using 1Password!
